Meet the Fetch foster pups available for adoption

We spend time getting to know every one of our pups in order to find them the perfect forever home. Each Fetch dog has their own story to share with the world. Click on a dog to read more about its personality and story. New pups join Fetch weekly so make sure to check back regularly or tune to our Facebook page for updates. Please note that we currently have a wait list for adoption. There's a good chance you may not get the pup you apply for, but we will find a pup that is a great match for your lifestyle. Our adoption process can take up to two months. If you're looking for a dog sooner, we highly recommend that you foster with Fetch, or check out the Dane County Humane Society, Iowa County Humane Society, Green County Humane Society, or any other local Wisconsin shelters - they have many dogs ready and waiting for their forever homes. (Note: If a picture does does not have a link, that means we don't have their bios ready quite yet).

Fetch works with local dog owners to help them re-home their dogs. You can apply for these dogs through the same adoption process as above. Our service is to screen and approve potential homes for surrendering owners, but you will finalize the adoption directly with the surrendering owner. Fetch cannot guarantee the behavior and medical condition of these dogs, but we strive to provide all information that we have on them during the process.

Jasper is an 8 year old Lab / Beagle mix, 42 lbs Are you an old soul? Jasper might be your soulmate. He loves hikes and going for runs, but is otherwise a very mellow pup. He also LOVES people - he'll want to sleep with or near you if you let him! He loves people so much, in fact, that he never wants to be away from them: His separation anxiety has resulted in destructive behavior, so he hopes he'll find someone who can be with him pretty often. He is a bit more dominant, so he does better with submissive dogs.. but definitely enjoys a good romp in the dog park! He's done well at daycare, too. Does this guy sound right for you?

Ruger is a 2 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix, 70 lbs This cuddle bug is looking for his best friend. He loves to run and play and is good with dogs and kids - he's great at sharing with both, too (the only time he doesn't like to share is with other dogs at mealtimes). He occasionally jumps and likes to be vocal - but uses those vocals for good.. he's great at letting you know when he needs to go out! Is Ruger singing your perfect dog tune?

Sophie is a 6yo Pittie Mix, 65 pounds.  Sophie has lived with other dogs and cats in the past before she was adopted, but she would likely do best as an only dog in her forever home. She is reactive to other dogs when in her crate or on a leash. Before she was adopted she appeared to have been in a car accident, but has no residual medical issues. She is good in the car, good on a leash, crate trained, and can be left home alone. She is energetic, but spends most of her time near her people or sleeping in the sun. She is sweet and loving with everyone she meets. She knows "place" and will stay when people come to the door. She loves to give kisses, run around in the backyard, and play in the hose on a hot day. She would likely do better with older kids (or no kids) as she sometimes does not know her own strength.

Scooter is a 3 yo Mini Dachshund, 10 pounds.  Scooter is a lap dog and loves to snuggle. Scooter would do best in a home without small children or other dogs, as he seems to be fearful and defensive. He warms up to people after awhile, but may bark initially. He is mostly housebroken, but sometimes poops in the house and his family has not had time to work further on it.  He is crate trained.
