Meet the Fetch foster pups available for adoption

We spend time getting to know every one of our pups in order to find them the perfect forever home. Each Fetch dog has their own story to share with the world. Click on a dog to read more about its personality and story. New pups join Fetch weekly so make sure to check back regularly
or tune to our Facebook page for updates. Please note that we currently have a wait list for adoption. There's a chance you may not get
the pup you apply for, but we will find a pup that is a great match for your lifestyle.

dogs available in the community

Fetch works with local dog owners to help them re-home their dogs. You can apply for these dogs through the same adoption process as above. Our service is to screen and approve potential homes for surrendering owners, but you will finalize the adoption directly with the surrendering owner. Fetch cannot guarantee the behavior and medical condition of these dogs, but we strive to provide all information that we have on them during the process.

Willie | Cocatoo/Rat Terrier | 5 y.o. male He walks well on a leash and can run next to a bike. He is very obedient and affectionate when he feels secure, but will cower and slink away when unsure/insecure. He is unsure around children, but has become friends with our daughter even if she won't admit it (she's a cat person). Willie doesn't like his paws touched. He is crate trained and will "go to his room" very willingly as this is his safe place. He gives hugs if you tap your shoulders and ask him to "give me hugs". He used to bark a lot, but learned quickly with a bark collar, which has become a calming factor for him.

Ellie | Sheltie/Chow/German Shepherd mix | 2 year old female | 44 lbs Would you consider opening your heart and home to beautiful, sweet Ellie?  Ellie is two years old and completely potty trained.  Ellie is a very sweet girl who is very shy around strangers.  Once she gets to know and trusts you, she is the best dog with just a few quirks. Ellie is not the type of dog who likes parks or walks where others are around. A confident, well rounded dog in the house would be great for Ellie. During rain and thunderstorms, Ellie will need a safe place.  If you are home, she will stick to you like glue but will find her own space and comfort when her humans are not present.  Ellie has not been crated and her foster mom does not recommend doing this with her. Ellie is not destructive.  Ellie is on Fluoxetine to help keep her calm and will need time and patience adjusting to a new home. Ellie knows sit, down, come and stay, when she trusts you. Ellie likes catsonce she gets her sniffing done. Ellie does not like chaos and children under 12.  Many of us have experience with shy dogs and can give Ellie's new family tips and tools for Ellie's success.

Ziva | Boxer/Pitt Bull MIx | 4 year old female This sweet (but anxious) girl has been with us for two years, after being rescued from a high kill shelter in Indiana. She's not comfortable small children. On the flip side, she is a favorite at doggie day-care/boarding, is wonderfully behaved at off leash dog-parks, is an avid cuddler, and loves to sprint and play fetch.
