Meet the Fetch foster pups available for adoption

We spend time getting to know every one of our pups in order to find them the perfect forever home. Each Fetch dog has their own story to share with the world. Click on a dog to read more about their personality and story. New pups join Fetch weekly so make sure to check back regularly or tune to our Facebook page for updates. Please note that we currently have a wait list for adoption. There's a good chance you may not get the pup you apply for, but we will find a pup that is a great match for your lifestyle. Our adoption process can take up to two months. If you're looking for a dog sooner, we highly recommend that you foster with Fetch, or check out the Dane County Humane Society, Iowa County Humane Society, Green County Humane Society, or any other local Wisconsin shelters - they have many dogs ready and waiting for their forever homes. (Note: If a picture does does not have a link, that means we don't have their bios ready quite yet).

Fetch works with local dog owners to help them re-home their dogs. You can apply for these dogs through the same adoption process as above. Our service is to screen and approve potential homes for surrendering owners, but you will finalize the adoption directly with the surrendering owner. Fetch cannot guarantee the behavior and medical condition of these dogs, but we strive to provide all information that we have on them during the process.

Miley is a 2.5 year old female hound mix, 60 lbs Miley is a smart, playful and snuggly girl. Although she will always play with you, she does well napping or chewing contently on her bone! She knows a myriad of commands and is kennel and potty trained!  Miley is an easy girl to love and will give all the love right back to you. Is Miley your new best friend?

Zayne is a 1.5 year old intact male pitbull, 50 lbs The best word to describe Zayne would be bouncy! Zayne is a happy boy who loves running around the backyard and playing with his human siblings. He needs some more house and kennel training but he is as loyal as can be, and a HUGE snuggler. Is he your next movie night pal?

Houston is a 2 year old male hound mix, 72 lbs Look into his eyes, are you in love yet? Houston is good with kids of all ages. He currently lives with an 8 month old and has been around ages 3 through 10. He does get a little jumpy at times and loves to give kisses, so kids that are okay with his extra loving would be perfect. He does well with other dogs too. Some dogs he is not quite sure of at first and needs slower intros, but he currently lives with an 80 lb terrier mix. Houston does have quite the prey drive, so if you are looking for a hunting buddy or someone to help control your rodent population this is your guy. If you have cats, he probably is not a good fit. Houston also loves his treats, which has made training come easy to him, apples are his favorite. Houston pictures himself running trails, taking long walks on the beach (or anywhere really), frequenting dog parks or even running around the yard. He doesn't care where it is as long as he is moving. He is good on leash, good in the car, crate trained, and knows sit, shake, stay, lay down, kennel, out (when wanting him out of a room) and even follows some hand cues (as opposed to word commands).

Rumi is a 4 year old female Border Collie/Red Heeler, 35 lbs Rumi is looking for a home for her and her favorite purple pig toy (it's a package deal). She's great on walks, relaxes while her people are gone, and does great with kids.. she's really just a sweet girl. She'd be best in a home without cats, but would likely do well with a mellow / mind-mannered pup (she lives with other dogs now). Does Rumi sound like your new favorite roomie?

Berkley is a 6 year old male Lab x Terrier, 60 lbs Berkley is looking for his new BFF. He's been doing his best to adjust to life with little ones in the house, but really just wants a calmer and quieter space. Berkley loves going on walks and playing fetch and sleeping and he can't wait to show off his sit, stay, shake, rollover, and come! He does well with some dogs, but would prefer to be the center of your world (which isn't asking too much.. you'll be his, after all). Are you going berserk for Berkley? Berkley is located in Rochester, MN.

Sophie is a 6 year old female pit mix, 65 pounds.    Sophie has lived with other dogs and cats in the past before she was adopted, but she would likely do best as an only dog in her forever home. She is reactive to other dogs when in her crate or on a leash. Before she was adopted she appeared to have been in a car accident, but has no residual medical issues. She is good in the car, good on a leash, crate trained, and can be left home alone. She is energetic, but spends most of her time near her people or sleeping in the sun. She is sweet and loving with everyone she meets. She knows "place" and will stay when people come to the door. She loves to give kisses, run around in the backyard, and play in the hose on a hot day. She would likely do better with older kids (or no kids) as she sometimes does not know her own strength.
