Updates from Foster Home:
Pupdate 1: Zelda wakes up around 6:20 a.m. to get ready for the day. We get up, get ready, we both eat, and then we go for a 20-minute walk before I head to work about 8 a.m. I crate her while I’m at work. I usually get home around 4:30 p.m., and we go on another 20-minute walk. Then, we eat and relax for the night. Zelda loves to keep me company while watching TV or a movie. We go out one more time before bed, and she loves to sleep in bed with me.
Zelda LOVES humans, she became instantly attached to me and follows me everywhere. She is happiest when people are around!
Zelda needs help learning how to walk on a leash. I don't have a yard, so it is the main form of exercise for her. She wants to meet every dog she comes across and will pull towards them if she sees or smells one. Zelda has spent some time with other dogs and she for the most part is fine. She likes to meet dogs but prefers lower-energy companions.
Zelda gets into mischief when left loose, and she has some anxiety that turns into destructiveness when left alone and uncrated. At the same time, she is not a fan of her crate, and lets us know by barking.
Zelda is such a great dog when people are around, she listens and she LOVES to cuddle. She would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard so she can get even more exercise in addition to walks, and where people are around most of the time.
