Updates from Foster Home:

Pupdate 2: Rascal started doggy daycare this week and is having a fabulous time making new doggy and human friends. He has really settled into the routine and is great in the car on the way there and home. He is quick to give a little snuggle and greeting to new people he meets and I’m so impressed with his progress as well as his gentleness.  He’s just a big snuggle bug at heart.  He is also used to being crated when we are gone now and just hangs out without much of a peep. He is fine sleeping in his crate but has also proven to be trustworthy if left out at night as well.  He has also shown much improvement with his potty training and will paw at the door when he wants to go out.  He still wears a belly band most of the time in the house for extra insurance but 98% of the time he keeps it dry so he will be graduating from those very soon!

Pupdate 1: Rascal is a pretty low key boy. He gets up in the morning and greets his people. He goes out for a potty break and eats breakfast. He also likes to watch out the window quietly and only barks if someone approaches the front door. He gently greets people and just loves being pet. Rascal currently lives with an 11 and 14 year old. He has also met young ones around age 4 or 5 on walks and has done great. He has little spurts of playing with the other dogs or a toy by himself. He isn't hyper in the house and is super easy to walk on leash. With the colder weather, we take him for a mile walk a day. When nicer, we go for longer. He barks at cats but is great with other dogs. He does pounce play and is even really gentle with the 3 month old puppy he currently lives with. He gets crated for now. Doesn't like it but does eventually settle. He currently wears a belly band to reduce marking but is improving with routine and consistent training!
