Updates from Foster Home:

Pupdate 2: Isabelle is doing awesome! Pretty much potty trained and still a super sweet girl.

Pupdate 1: Isabelle is a super sweet girl! She is high energy. Loves to walk/run. Loves to be outdoors so a yard where a possible outdoor kennel could be for her to enjoy some fresh air during the day would be great! Needs to be with someone who can walk/run her everyday. She is very smart and thrives with mental stimulation. She would benefit with obedience training. Since she is a puppy she is in the nipping stage right now when she plays, but does great with redirection when we tell her "no bite". We are also working on not jumping. She loves to jump when she gets excited.

Isabelle has been around our daughter (7 years old) the whole time. She is good with kids. Again, she loves to jump which can sometimes lead to a scratch on legs. We are working on not jumping and this is where some good obedience training would be nice for her.

I work form home so she spends some time in her playpen with toys while I work. We take several short walks throughout the day for potty and exercise breaks. She loves to be able to see what is going on so her playpen is in my office. We don't leave her alone for long periods of time since I work from home. She is crate trained so she goes in there when we have to run errands or head out for a bit. Longest she has been left alone has been 2 hours.

We have two older dogs at home that Isabelle does fine with. She does play hard, not in an aggressive way, she loves to wrestle and scuffle with the dogs. She lived with a cat before coming to us and I was told she did great with the cat as well. She has had another animal around her since birth so it is definitely something she is used to!

LOVES to eat! She's a chow hound. Not aggressive at all but we are working on staying calm for feeding times. With the right amount of training, attention and love she will be a fantastic companion! She is so lovable and loyal. She does have a tendency to jump up on furniture. Since she is potty trained she has started sleeping on her bed in our room at night. She does great and can go the whole night without any potty accidents. Sometimes she will whine to go out around 3 am but then she does right back to bed!
