Updates from Foster Home:

Pupdate 2: Freckles is a sweet and shy little lady still looking for her new family. Freckles would like nothing more than to lounge around  next to her person and snuggle.  She has quickly fallen into the daily routine of the household and is allowed to free-roam in the house for 8 hours while her foster mom is at work.  Freckles has been on a diet and has lost a couple pounds, while her waist shrinks her personality grows!  Freckles has become more active and wanting to engage in play with the resident house dogs. When Freckles first arrived she had no interest in playing with toys but now has her favorite stuffed animals and will even play fetch!

Freckles and her foster mom are working very hard on socialization as she continues to be very fearful of strangers.  Freckles adopter would need to be very patient during any introduction as Freckles is slow to trust. Once you have Freckles trust she is a wonderful little companion with lots and lots of love to give.

Pupdate 1: Freckles is a gentle southern belle who is hoping to find a new person to cuddle with. Freckles loves to be pampered with belly rubs and ear scratches, she often moves throw blankets and pillows around to find the perfect soft spot to snuggle in.

Freckles was shy and nervous when she first arrived but her personality is growing by the day. She bonded with me very easy once she felt safe in her new foster home and is very affectionate. Strangers are still scary for Freckles and she will try to hide behind me.
She has not been exposed to children but I think kids would be overwhelming for her as she’s very low energy.

Freckles is almost housebroken, she is pee-pad trained and this was a bit of a learning curve for her foster mom. Freckles gets along great with her fellow resident dogs but she is very low energy. She would be fine as an only dog or with another low energy dog.
