Updates from Foster Home:
Pupdate 1: Currently most of Angel's days are spent snuggled up in her dog bed, but she is coming more out of her shell everyday. Angel spent time with my nieces and nephews (ages 4-8) and wasn't bothered by them. Let them pet her. She sometimes barks at strangers outside, but hasn't done anything when they get up close. If they crowd her personal space inside, she growls but I think it is just in nervousness not aggression.
She has a very low energy level. She does not know how to walk on a leash yet. She is potty trained and will run around in the yard during her trips out and seems to enjoy it. I think with training she could learn to love short walks. She has lived her whole life with other dogs and cats. She was bonded to her daughter in her previous family. In her foster home, she mostly just ignores the cat and the big dog we were puppy sitting. She can get a little growly/possessive if they crowd her personal space or if she is guarding something like a bone.
I have left her out while I have been gone for up to 4-5 hours and she did fine. She can hold her potty all night and sleep in in the morning so she might be fine for a full work day. She spends the majority of her time in bed or looking out the windows for me to come home.
Her life changed a lot when she came into foster care and she has already grown so much in the two weeks I've had her and I'm sure she will keep changing as she gets more comfortable.
