Updates from Foster Home:

Pupdate 2: Poor Alice broke her femur! She was outside playing in the yard with her dog friends and when we let her back in it was pretty clear her leg was injured. She went into surgery the next morning and is now 2 weeks post op. Despite being on kennel rest for this whole time she remains the HAPPIEST dog I've ever met! This girl's wiggle bottom hardly ever stops moving. She was so happy to see the Fedex delivery guy today you would have thought they were friends for decades.
She's currently on antibiotics and needs to do regular physical therapy until she's cleared for regular activity. Whoever is willing to help Alice out while she recovers will be repaid in spades by this lovebug!

Alice is currently almost totally house trained and does really well in her kennel.

Pupdate 1: Alice loves everyday! She wakes up happy and energized and enjoys a good romp in the backyard before hanging out playing with her foster dog sister and toys. She is such a happy camper and loves to greet anyone and everyone. I haven't seen her around children but I suspect she would do fabulously as long as she was given a little structure and guidance about not jumping up on them etc. Alice is a high energy gal who loves to play - she'd be a great running/hiking buddy. She'd also really love to attend a doggy daycare and currently goes regularly with her foster mom. She is great with other dogs and loves to play. She has not met any cats with me, but I bet she would be great as long as she was told not to chase them. Alice sleeps in her kennel while we are gone. She will sometimes whine a little bit at first but is overall very quiet and polite in her kennel.
