Updates from Foster Home:

Pupdate 2: We’ve had Timber for just over two weeks now and he has settled in very well. Last weekend he got the chance to go to a sitter for two nights and did amazing even with the changes to his routine. Two of the biggest differences were not having dog playmates or a fenced yard, but Timber did great going on walks for exercise and bathroom breaks. He also got to spend the night out of his crate and didn’t get into any trouble! When he got back to our house he easily slipped back into the mix with his foster siblings. He is an adaptable guy!

Pupdate 1: Here's Timber! He is a gorgeous boy thanks in part to his blue eyes and thick soft fur coat. Timber is energetic - he loves to play with humans, but especially with fellow pups. It's a good thing he has more than a couple foster siblings because if he tires one out, theres always another to wrestle or chase. Sometimes, Timber's playful energy can cause him to be mischievous. He's been known to counter-surf if he thinks no one is paying attention, but reminders are helping him learn to be more responsible in the kitchen. A typical husky, he thinks he should be the one to decide when to follow human directions, but he is easily persuaded with treats and praise for good behavior. When Timber is not playing, he enjoys snuggling with his people and can turn in to a bit of a lap dog. He is well housebroken and sleeps through the night in his crate without complaint even though he's pretty sure the bed is more comfortable. If you have room in your heart and home for a snuggly and playful guy, Timber would be happy to meet you!
