Updates from Foster Home:
Pupdate 1: Noki's a pretty spunky pup! She's a little snuggle bug and super loving. She enjoys her foster dog siblings, and likes going to doggy daycare! Chasing toys is one of her favorite past times.
While Noki is only a little girl, she rides very well in the car and walks great on leash. Sometimes she'll get excited and bounce around on the end of the leash which is pretty adorable but we've been practicing staying calm since she'll be a big girl one day!
Her new family can expect regular pup behaviors to work on: chewing, house training, kennel training, basic obedience, and energy! She's a big chewer, and needs to be supervised when she's roaming the house. When we aren't able to watch her we put her in her kennel and she does really well in there. She also sleeps in her kennel and can almost make it the whole night. We feed her in her kennel, so she's been happy to go into it when we point towards the door and tell her to "kennel up". She's working on 'sit' and 'come' right now. She's super food motivated, so she makes training a breeze! She would love to go to puppy classes if her adopter wanted to take Fetch up on their training class reimbursement program.
She's been doing great with house training - we supervise her closely when she's out in the house and let her out often. Whenever she wakes up from a nap she knows it's time to go outside. She does well in her kennel when we aren't supervising her and sleeps there overnight.
She'll tire out with a walk or two, or a half day of daycare, but as she gets older she may need more exercise and her furever family should be prepared for that if it's necessary! She's looking forward to meeting you!
