Updates from Foster Home:
Pupdate 3: Lance had a lot of fun discovering water on this hot weekend. He wasn't sure about swimming but loved standing in the cool water with his long legs and watching the other dogs swim.
Pupdate 2: Lance is starting to figure out what houses are about. He still isn't sure what throw pillows are but he likes couches and beds a lot! He is continuing to get better and better walking on a leash and he's turning into a great walking buddy. He is working on sit but doesn't quite understand the concept yet. He really is a big silly guy!
Pupdate 1: Lance is one of Fetch's rescues from the Louisiana/Texas shelters clearing out dogs before Hurricane Harvey. Lance is doing very well adjusting to home life. He does very well in his crate and hasn't had any accidents in the house. He is a very mellow, affectionate dog but does need a long daily walk or run as he is only 18 months old. He loves playing now with soft toys and ropes but doesn't seem to know what raw hides or chews are yet. He loves loves playing with other dogs and is a very soft and submissive player. He hasn't shown any possessiveness over toys, treats, or food. He is doing very well learning to walk on leash, though he does bay when excited, he has been able to take walks on the Glacial Drumlin State Trail with lots of bikes and people going by and done very well. He does love to play and would do well in a home with another dog or in a home where he would have access to play with other dogs, when the resident dogs are too lazy to play he will play bow at the chickens in their coop to try and get them to play with him.
