Updates from Foster Home:
Pupdate 2: Acadia has learned being part of a family with kids and going places is a lot of fun! She loves going to baseball games and making friends with everyone. When she’s not being loved on, she lays quietly and watches the kids or chews on a bone.
She has learned car rides mean fun, too! Acadia stays in her spot, is quiet, and usually lays down and falls asleep. Recently, we have been letting her sleep free in our room instead of being crated at night and she does awesome! She loves to cuddle, is quiet all night, and doesn’t have any accidents.
We are still working on potty training, but she is starting to go to the door to let us know when she needs to go out. Teaching her to nose the bells on the door is next. She is the sweetest pup!
Pupdate 1: Acadia is the sweetest puppy! She has lots of energy, but still loves to cuddle with her humans. She is your typical happy silly puppy. She likes slow intros to new dogs because she can be a little shy and unsure at first, but once she has a chance to sniff she’s ready to play! She and our resident lab get along great!
She loves everyone she meets! She’s been introduced to kids ages 18 months to 10 years. She does have a tendency to jump, but she’s gotten much better. Acadia knows some basic commands such as sit, down, wait, leave it, go to bed, and she REALLY knows them if you have a treat! She is also crate trained.
Whoever adopts Acadia may want to consider having a fence or be prepared to get lots of exercise on leash. She is very curious and interested in everything that moves!
Acadia gives happy grunts of joy when you get home because she just loves her people, but she is otherwise a very quiet puppy.
She will make a great companion!
